Properties south of the A4232 sit in higher relative humidity. Drying times for screed need adjusting and moisture testing prior to floor coverings is non-optional, we issue calcium carbide readings before sign-off.
Heavy clay subsoil in northern suburbs
Lisvane, Thornhill and Rhiwbina sit on reactive clay. Foundation pours and oversites need correct mix design (typically GEN3 to C25 with appropriate slump) and continuous pour discipline, we batch on the wagon so cold joints are avoided.
